Jags ink Lee Evans to one year deal...Knighton to be out at least three months

The Jaguars signed eight year veteran Lee Evans to a one year deal today. Evans who was with the Baltimore Ravens last year began his career with the Bufallo Bills when Mike Mularkey was headcoach with the Bills. Evans has two 1000 yard seasons under his belt both of which were when he was with Buffalo. His play has declined somewhat over the years  but he brings a veteran presense to a very young wide receiver corps. Terms of the contract have yet to be disclosed.

It was reported also by several media outlets that Jaguars defensive tackle Terrance "Potroast" Knighton  will miss the majority of the off season as he recovers from an eye injury after an incident at Pure night club. Knighton who is currently in the final year of his rookie contract was having a better off season than in his previous years with the club will stick to a strict nutritional regiment so that when he does return he can be in shape for the beginning  of NFL preseason.
