Jaguars and Lee Evans agree to terms expected to sign tomorrow

Per Adam Schefter of NFL.com the Jaguars and former Ravens and Bills WR Lee Evans have agreed to terms. Evans is expected to sign tomorrow. Evans will sign a one year deal and will add more depth to the Jaguars receiver corps. The 31 year old Evans will ad a veteran presence to the Jags. This addition does not mean the Jags will not draft a new WR. They may wait for a later round to draft one rather than the first and focus on defensive end. Evans career stats stand at 6008 receiving yards, 43 touchdowns and 381 receptions. The Jags showed interest in Evans early when free agency started but there was no word of talks until today. A one year deal will be good for veteran and the Jaguars. Many of the current receivers on the Jaguars roster will be fighting for a spot this year during preseason and mini camp. Who do you think will be wearing black and teal come this August??
